 There are many factors that determine if you would be a full stack web developer and the are:

A passion for knowledge

Technology is always evolving, and the skills and abilities needed in today’s tech scene can get outdated quickly. It’s important to have a passion for learning and the desire to keep up with the latest trends. As newer versions of languages, libraries and frameworks roll out, you will be expected to not only know these changes, but be a subject matter expert within your company. Don’t confuse this with technical skills - you can still love to learn without being the sharpest crayon in the box.

This goes beyond a willingness to educate yourself. You should embrace the inevitable challenges that come with the job, and develop a great habit for researching possible solutions. If you love the work and the challenge that it presents, you will be successful at your job.

Determination and Discipline

Failure and doubt are inevitable. The question is how you will deal with it when it happens.

You need to be determined, motivated and driven to really be successful at web development. There are many aspiring web developers out there. Not all of them will be determined and driven and motivated.

Not all of them will be disciplined in learning web development. That might not sound right, but it is true. We are all busy with other things and you may even have a full-time job while you learn web development (that’s in fact how I started).

The hard part is not starting… it’s whether you keep going. You need to be disciplined in learning.

Set a schedule and stick to it.

I used to work from 8am-6pm, come home to my wife and be exhausted, eat, relax for a bit, and then start learning to code from 8pm to 1am/2am for a few months. That was very challenging for me, but I needed to be  highly focused and it worked out well because of that discipline.

Maybe you have children or other important priorities, but don’t make excuses. If it’s important to you, you make a plan to learn and you will force yourself to be disciplined. And it would help you learn web development faster.

Purpose of learning

You have to know the purpose of learning web development because it can be used to do different things depending on your learning path, it can be used to create web based games and apps and also create websites and blogs. But you must have a purpose for learning it whether it's for website creation or game or app development.

Note:

 Apps made with web programming languages like sass and Django can be only run on the web, apps like amazon.com is a web based app though.

Computer and Internet literacy

Computer and internet Literacy also affects you in becoming a full stack web developer, I order to become a web developer faster you have to have some idea about the computer like you should know the BASIC programming language.
